Katie and her sister have worked together on a project on the Isle of Wight and Roman has put together a PowerPoint about Oxford. Oxford by Roman (1)
Great work.
Well done to Alfie and Katie on completing Rainbow Challenges.
Here we are at the end of the school year…
You have all done incredibly well tackling the challenges of home learning and deserve a relaxing summer break!
Well done Alfie who has earned his Rainbow Challenge medals and pen. Great work!
Whatever you are up to over the holiday, have fun and stay safe. We look forward to hearing all about it in September.

Well done Opal Class
We have made it through Year 3, and what a strange year it has been. Mrs McChrystal and I are so proud of how you have carried on working at home or in the key worker bubble. We have loved seeing your work and look forward to seeing you again in September.
The book you took home in March had lots of challenges in it and I’d like you to choose your own English activities. Perhaps you could watch a movie and write a review; create a Summer poem and decorate it; or come up with an A-Z of amazing adjectives to help you with your writing next year.
For maths I’d like you to think of something you learnt this year and create a poster/guide/fact sheet for the next year three class. Maybe how to do column addition; explaining parallel and perpendicular lines; telling the time or fractions. I will forward the best ones to Miss Cooper.
In school we will be having our Sports Day, so if you haven’t done it already have a go and let me know how you got on. Here are just a few of the photos Katie sent me. We will also be completing some of the Kent Sports Rainbow Challenges.

Enjoy your last two days of ‘school’.

This week Roman and Katy have been working hard on their Summer challenges. Katy created her own dot-to-dots and Roman did a lot of research for his project on Oxford.
Everybody worked so hard on their capacity work last week. Well done.
Here are some of the things Katie, Roman and Finley emailed me. Plus some of Finley’s Science – I love that he has found some seed pods.
This term we have looked at lots of stories from The Gospels in The Bible. Each story has had a message and has helped us to understand what kind of a world Jesus wanted. Think back over the stories, maybe watch some of them again. Which was your favourite and why?
Task – Draw the world or use the image attached. Fill in the countries with ideas about how Jesus would want us to live our lives ad the type of world he would like. EG We should treat each other kindly. You could illustrate your ideas as well.
what kind of world did Jesus want
Prayer – Can you write your own prayer which encapsulates this terms themes? It could be a Thank You, Sorry, Please prayer using ideas from the world you have just annotated.
Share your ‘worlds’ and prayers with your teacher for the Blog.
Normally at this time of the year we would be enjoying our school sports day. Just because this year is rather different, there is no reason why we should miss out on all the fun!
You might like to try some of these activities at home. Please send us pictures of any events to try out!Virtual Sports Day
